We recently had a client that we were sent to, they were a supply chain, they had a full-time IT department and they just could not figure out how they were operating in such a slow manner. So what we did is we ran an attack against them and showed that they had external ports open, which makes no sense.

You have a firewall. The whole idea of having a firewall is you block everything. They actually had a porn site running on their internal server. Which was killing the system ’cause it had so much traffic running back and forth. So when they were assigned to install a firewall, they didn’t really have the training or the expertise for the firewall.
