About a year’s time for any business that deals with the federal government is going to have to meet the new NIST requirements, the National Institute for Standards and Technology. And it doesn’t matter if you’re a janitor, if you’re supplying bolts, or you’re a manufacturer, or anything. If you’re dealing directly with the federal government.

You’re going to need to meet the NIST requirements. Now there are going to be different levels of it depending on what you do for them, right? So there’s going to be a huge difference between a janitor or somebody that’s supplying material for, for military. So you know, depending on what you’re doing, you’ve got about a year to start getting ready for, for those requirements.
