How to Build a Business Continuity Community

One of the things we experienced in Wilma was, you know, it was pretty devastating to the area, so a lot of businesses were down, but a few miles down, those businesses were operating and it was a pleasure to work with businesses that actually worked together. So the businesses that lost their building or had no way of getting online were able to go to another business and share that space ’cause they were willing to let their employees come in.

What we recommend for you is to look at synergies or businesses that you know or network with that may be willing to work with you in the event of a disaster, right? But these are things you need to think about before hurricane comes.
