Brian Richards

Brian Richards brings a practical, service-driven approach to IT at Spider Networks, backed by years of hands-on experience supporting users, maintaining systems, and helping organizations make smarter technology decisions. His background includes work in education, retail operations, and freelance IT consulting, giving him a well-rounded perspective on how technology supports people in very different environments. That range of experience helps Brian understand both the technical side of IT and the day-to-day challenges that businesses and teams face.

Before joining Spider Networks, Brian served as a Technology Support Specialist at Attucks Middle School, where he supported staff and students by maintaining hardware and software, managing inventory, deploying laptops, supporting servers and network equipment, and helping ensure systems stayed organized and reliable. He also provided freelance IT consulting for businesses with equipment rollouts, printer and scanner installations, networking improvements, and office technology upgrades. Earlier in his career, Brian worked as a Systems Analyst for Tate’s Comics, where he managed and improved point-of-sale systems, supported technology purchasing and maintenance, created detailed reporting tools, and trained employees across multiple locations.

Brian brings that same adaptable, problem-solving mindset to Spider Networks. He enjoys helping people get the most out of their technology, finding solutions that make systems run more smoothly, and supporting clients in ways that reduce frustration and improve efficiency. His experience working directly with users, training teams, and maintaining complex technology environments has made him a dependable resource and a strong addition to the Spider Networks team.

“What I enjoy most about IT is being able to solve problems that make a real difference for people. Whether it’s fixing an issue, improving a process, or helping someone feel more confident using technology, that’s what makes the work rewarding.”
