Tony Browne

Tony Browne, CISSP brings more than 25 years of experience in information technology, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance to his role as President of Spider Networks. Over the course of his career, he has built a strong foundation in secure infrastructure, risk management, and compliance-focused IT strategy, with particular depth in supporting financial institutions. His experience gives clients confidence that they are working with someone who understands not only the technical side of technology, but also the operational and regulatory demands that come with protecting a business.

As the founder and leader of Spider Networks, Tony has spent years building the company into a trusted IT partner for credit unions and businesses throughout Florida. Under his leadership, Spider Networks has earned a reputation for delivering secure, reliable, and cost-effective technology solutions tailored to each client’s needs. Tony’s expertise spans cybersecurity, network design, compliance, and strategic technology planning, and he is especially skilled at helping organizations navigate complex frameworks such as NCUA, GLBA, and NIST.

Tony’s background includes early work as a database engineer with Datacard, where he developed a deep understanding of enterprise systems and data environments. Even before that, he was gaining hands-on technical experience in his family’s vending business, repairing and maintaining everything from arcade games to soda machines. That early exposure helped shape the practical, problem-solving mindset he still brings to his work today. He is also committed to staying ahead of the curve and is currently expanding his knowledge of artificial intelligence through programs with Harvard Business School and the University of Michigan, helping ensure Spider Networks clients are prepared for the evolving intersection of AI, cybersecurity, and business technology.

Outside of work, Tony is passionate about giving back to the community and is actively involved in reef restoration efforts in the Florida Keys, supporting cleanup and conservation initiatives both in and out of the water.

“Technology is at its best when it helps people feel more secure, more prepared, and more confident in their business. That’s what has always driven me and what continues to shape the work we do at Spider Networks.”
