The Biggest Lesson Learned from Hurricane Wilma

The lesson that we picked up from, from Wilma is you’ve got to have a plan. It has to be tailored to your individual business. And you know, the three scenarios that’s so important is you have to be able to communicate with your people, have your employees ready. You have to be able to get access to data and you have to be able to have phone systems.

And the time to, to prepare is not when you’re under that pressure, when, when you’ve had a storm go through and now you have nothing and you have to figure all this stuff out. What we learned from Wilma is you just have to come up with a plan. And you have to prepare. Test and prepare that plan and tested it and implement it when you’re not under that pressure.

When you’re not dealing with a storm or you’re not in the middle of a huge disaster. And not only are you in a disaster, everybody else around you is dealing with it.
